Welcome to the official website of the Independence High School PTSO! IHS, which houses grades 9 through 12, is part of the Williamson County School District in Middle Tennessee and is located in the heart of Thompson’s Station. Our PTSO is a 501(c)(3) organization whose membership includes parents, teachers, and students working together to support our school.

As a PTSO member, you have a network of support that includes parents, teachers, and students working together toward a common goal of enriching the quality of education at IHS. Our success depends on our members, so we need you to join. The money we raise through membership fees and fundraisers helps with projects like updating our library, buying water bottle fillers throughout the school, software for classrooms, nurses’ clinic supplies, music & attire for our choir, classroom supplies, and so much more.
Volunteer at IHS
We need volunteers year-round to help out in numerous areas such as Office Volunteers, Public Relations, Hospitality, Spirit Wear, Fundraising, Membership, Landscaping, and POGS.
